UV Printing
One of our most recent purchases, is a UV printer. This allows us to print directly onto various plastics. With a size capability of 770 x 330mm and up to 100mm in height, we can print onto a wide range of sizes and thicknesses.
We have printed things such as, photographs for presents, signs and logos, machine display covers and much more.

Spraying
We have an in-house spray booth and curing oven along with a wide range of paints and inks, which allow us to offer a comprehensive colour matching service.
We have colour matched and sprayed all sorts in the past, including, glass bottles, light fittings and even golf clubs!

Vac Forming
We have a vacuum forming machine capable of pulling shapes of up to 650mm square with a 300mm draw.
We have used it for a wide range of different applications, from chocolate box inserts to bespoke light fittings.

Sand Blasting
We now offer a sandblasting service. our in-house sandblaster can roughen a smooth surface or create a frosted look on originally transparent components.
WE predominately sandblast acrylic to make it appear frosted however other materials can also be sandblasted.

Line Bending
We have 2 line benders, with bending capabilities of up to 3m in length.
We bend various materials to make a wide range of products, including machine/electrical guarding, display covers, mounts & holders etc. etc.

Foam Machining
We have recently started producing foam inserts for flight cases to house various of our manufactured components.
we have a wide range of stock thicknesses, and we can also stick layers together to create whatever thickness you require. Our specialist tooling allows us to machine the foam to your exact requirements.

Cutting Service
As well as supplying stock material, we can also cut to size. We offer 3 main finishes to suit most needs and situations. We can leave edges plain saw cut, we can router/machine the edges or we can flame polish them.

CAD / CAM
We have various 2D & 3D CAD/CAM software available to us. This allows us to deal with and machine, files of ranging complexity.

Milling
We currently have 5 vertical machining centres, 3 of which have a 4th axis dividing head fitted.
Our wide range of tooling and work holding allow us to machine components of all kinds of shapes and sizes, with various techniques and methods.

Food & Drink Industry
We are manufacturing more and more parts for the food and drink industries.
We stock various materials in various thicknesses that are food safe. With our wide range of machining capabilities we make, production line, labelling and conveyor parts, nozzles for depositing filling/ingredients, crimps and cutters for pastry and cakes and so much more.

Fabrication
A lot of our work involves some kind of fabrication. Whether that be gluing/fastening or basic assembly.
We have a wide range of glues, adhesives, solvents and fixings, that alongside our machines and hand tools allow us to fabricate all sorts. including medical & scientific research apparatus, museum display cases, catering covers and much more.

Model Making
We produce a lot of accurate and detailed scale models of water pumping stations and pipework.
We manufacture these using various methods of machining and fabrication out of acrylic and they are used for flow analysis work.
The techniques used here are directly transferable across to the production of other models, such as architectural models.

Laser Cutting
We have a 100W laser cutter which can cut a variety of different materials.
Primarily we use it for cutting acrylic and petg because it cuts and polishes the edge simultaneously. The laser power is controllable so we can adjust it to also engrave rather than cut through.

Turning
Having recently added to our collection of lathes and increased our capabilities, we can now turn components of around 300mm diameter and over 1000mm in length.
WE have 3 CNC Lathes and 2 manual lathes meaning we can manufacture a wide range of turned parts and components of varying materials and sizes.
From walking sticks to aluminium domes, there isnβt much we havenβt had a go at turning.

CNC Routering
We have recently invested in another 5β x 8β vacuum table router. Our 2 machines both have inbuilt tool changers and a variety of capabilities, this allows us to profile, rebate, drill, engrave etc. etc. all at the same time, which massively increases productivity.

Prototypes
Perhaps the largest part of our business is creating highly accurate and detailed prototypes for new bottle ideas within the packaging industry.
They are machined from scratch and are still finished by hand to ensure the highest quality finish.
The models can be sandblasted, polished, or sprayed to match whatever colour sample you desire.
The majority of these models are solid, however we also manufacture hollow prototypes to give the ultimate realistic finish.
Generally, these prototypes are made from acrylic block, however we have made models from other materials upon special requests.
Some of our models are also hollowed out, so they can receive shock logger sensors in order to be sent down the production lines.
Despite the most of our work being for packaging models, we have also made prototypes for all sorts of different applications, from a height adjustable high heel shoe to bespoke award trophies.

Other Materials
We also get requests to machine other materials apart from plastic. With a wide range of tooling and machines, we can usually accommodate most requests. We have machined wooden playground equipment, metal components for the food industry and even our own machine tools.
